A nice family-friendly hike through the tall grass prairie of Sugarcreek Metropark. The trail is almost entirely grass covered and is perfect for all ages, as it is mostly flat. The trail is well marked with trail markers.

This is a beautiful trail, it has some hills and stream crossings and is an easier "Moderate" trail. My main warning is this is a easily accessible trail, so if you're going to spend time in nature away from people, this is not the trail for you. Sugarcreek is always packed with people.

Clear trail with easy markers to follow. A few small uphill sections but mostly a flat hike. Beautiful scenery that passes by creeks. Friendly hikers that respected social distancing & not overly crowded. Moderate workout

This is a good, longish trail with a decent amount of up hill sections. Mostly shaded. Plenty of places to go down to the stream and explore and two stream crossings. Well maintained and plenty of people using it, though not so crowded as to be a negative.

A great loop trail. It was a little muddy after a burst of rain, but not terrible. If you take it clockwise there are two moderate, rocky inclines in the middle. They’re enough to make you feel like you’re getting some exercise. Otherwise an easy enough trail with plenty to look at.

This 3 to 4 mile trail takes me past a large prairie, a beach tree grove and a creek bed laden stream. Be prepared for shade and good creek views that being some muddy passage and insects. There are many places to walk into the creek and out again along the trail too. Rocky spots will find uphill and downhill hikers but those places aren't too numerous or dangerous. I like seeing the creek, the hills and a diverse number of trees and plants on this well groomed, wide dirt trail.

Nice, quick path with a couple slight changes in elevation to get the heart pumping. Pretty creek crossings and nice shade throughout. Popular for trail running, at least the day we went. Just be vigilant for spacing and your surroundings.

I love this trail, it's a perfect 1 hour, moderate intensity hike with pretty views, a couple creeks to cross, some moderate elevation, and gorgeous woods. this park can be busy at times, but it doesn't bother me because everyone is so friendly and there's lots of dogs!

Nice trail, and a few side trails you could do. Really cool overhanging trees on the orange trail. Too many runners though...

Plenty of diversity and not too difficult for kids, plus you can take your dog so what’s not to love about this trail!

We also added the big woods loop and the paved prairie section. With the quarantine it was the busiest I have seen Sugarcreek. Sugarcreek is one of the nicest suburban hiking parks we have in the area. It was a bit muddy in places, but no more than usual for this time of year after a heavy rain.
