Highly recommend. Dog and kid friendly. Huge water fall that creates water slide for kids to go down. We all went swimming in a deep end part of the water, my dog included. 5+ stars.

Pretty busy between Stanford house and the falls. Trails in great condition. Beautiful hike, but lots of people at the falls. Go at off-peak time.

Good wide trail. Heavily trafficked and poison ivy on the sides of the trail so stay on trail!

One of my favorites , beautiful waterfall and a decent walking and parking area . Kids loved it. Would have been more stars but the place was crowded of people when I went. Had to wait to check the views. There were kind people so it didn’t take long to push through and grab a decent spot to take pictures.

Good trail with an excellent prize at the end. The trail to get to the gorge is nice but very typical of the foliage you see in the Valley, nothing too special. But once you’re in the gorge, Brandywine creek is pretty as spots (when people aren’t playing and swimming in it) and as you make your way around to the Falls, the views only get better. I went late July and the Falls had a good amount of water going over it. Absolutely gorgeous waterfall and should not be missed if you’re stopping through the park. There are about three different vantages to see the falls from along the trail and I recommend using all three, especially the lower deck.

Gorgeous views and scenery! The boardwalk is nicely built and allows for good shots of the falls to be taken.

So this trail is awesome. Definitely would take standford to brandywine gorge trail. It was peaceful on that side. Now if you think it is a typical national park... it’s not... but needless to say it’s still really awesome. Hope this is helpful to other looking to go!

I left Stanford House around 6:45 a.m. on a Monday morning and saw more rabbits than people on my hike. There was no one else at the Brandywine Falls overlook while I was there, which was nice. Most of the hike was in the shade, another plus.

I took my 3 kids and a dog on this trail. It was nice that it was shaded as it was quite warm on the way up. The trail is well marked and the kids thought the hike was worth it to see the waterfall.

overall easy trail that leads to the stunning brandywine falls. A few up and downs that lead into a gorge like area.

Great trail. Well marked, well maintained. Fun trail to do some trail running. Two waterfalls available. One is another side trail that will tack on to your total time and miles. The other is on the way. Highly recommend this loop.
