All dirt trail with benches at various places. Can easily be combines with the Adam Run Trail for an extended loop.
Nice day for a hike. Not too many people out not too muddy and the river was more than Managua to cross.
Super muddy today. I was testing new mud chains so I came for the mud. The stream crossing is open but water is higher than average. Don't use the logjam to cross, it is not stable.
Very scenic but very slippery today. Pretty fair amount of ice on the trail. I still enjoyed it though.
One of the most enjoyable trails Ive done. Love the winding trail and stream. Views are amazing from above and below! Thank you also, to whoever dropped the fancy wrapped cough drop in green wrapper!!! hahaha that came in handy as I was getting dry mouth! lol
Really fun little trail that fits right in with other trails in the area. Was not crowded at all as it is kinda isolated from residential and commercial areas. Whoever mapped this out did a wonderful job because the walk back has a great views and is very subtle about its elevation changes. You walk song the side of a hill rather back up and down it the entire time. Plenty of creeks to cross which is fun. The only bad thing was that it was very muddy today, but that is to be expected in NE Ohio. I would just suggest if you are coming in the Fall, Winter, and probably early spring for that matter, wear hiking boots and bring a towel if you are bringing your Doggos.
Really fun trail with lots of natural elements. Trail is more adventurous than most trails in the area.
nice Trail. Probably rated moderate because of steep short changes in altitude. 9 cars in the parking lot at 8:45 in the morning on a Monday. Only saw two other hikers. What I've noticed is that on these Metro Park trails, there are park benches strategically located for views. Although I don't use them, I think that's nice.
Hilly. Short. It was really dry when I went, but there are a lot of spots for water, need to go back during the wet season.
Peaceful forest trail of packed earth, crosses a creek (dry when I visited). Some erosion and rocky areas, shaded by pretty mature-growth tree canopy.
