Sharon Woods Shared-Use Trail is a 2.7 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near West Chester Township, Ohio that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
A nice wooded multi-use path, mostly paved with some gravel, and lots of beautiful sights. Due to the multiple sections with a very steep grade above 12%, this trail is not marked as wheelchair or stroller friendly, although sections of it may be for some users and all-terrain or motorized equipment. The trail surface is mostly paved (some gravel), typically at least five feet wide, and the majority of the trail has a moderately steep estimated grade (between 0% and 8%). The estimated max grade is -12% downhill and uphill 18%. Also, users have reported there are some uneven areas in the pavement where there are cracks or potholes which may be a problem for wheelchair or stroller users.
Little too busy. My dogs were attacked by another dog whose owner couldn’t control it. So be careful
Nice trail along the gorge with numerous waterfalls. Entrance fee is $8 per car for non-county residents. Trai is well maintained.
Nice park. Weekday afternoon/evening was fairly busy but still enjoyable. Good fall colors.
Beautiful fall colors right now. Did only the loop around the water, not the gorge trail.
