This trail takes one around Allen Knob and explores a large loop north of Ruble Knob taking one through some wonderful valleys between the two. There are up and back trails to the top of both knobs there there are views of the city of Lancaster and the surrounding farmland.

Really close to my house, so I run here a lot. If you start in the parking lot, and run the full trail system 3 times, coming out to the parking lot and tapping the sign each time, it ends up being exactly 5 miles, with 1000’ feet of climbing.

The description says there is a lake. There is no lake.

Nice quick hike with some pretty views. The wildflowers blooming in the spring is very pretty. Only downside is the road noise.

Nice trail! Great for hiking- a bit challenging for trail running though. Very shaded all dirt trail. Lots of hills and trees the kids can cross as bridges.

Great views and challenging hills with great level changes of elevation. Recently cleaned and cleared of mayor obstacles, it's a great trail to not only challenge you aerobically but strength and endurance as well. Can't wait to see it when the trees fill and the vegetation blooms.
