I liked this trail. A lot of the time there is a steep drop off next to you. Trail is narrow a lot of the time. My dogs and I never saw another person. We parked at the showers/ common area and it was easy in/ out. I thought it was marked well. My dogs got very thirsty so we headed to the beach next.

The W trailhead has moved. As of 3/15/21, trail on AllTrails is not accurate. The trail now ends northwest of camping area with a creek crossing that will get your feet wet after a rain storm since there is no bridge, logs or stones to use

Not bad but not great. Trail could use some maintenance with downed trees. Trail is very narrow so be mindful of that during peak seasons...i was the only one on this trail today. When you walk through the main camp ground I recommend walking towards the camp store, mini golf, beach and lake. Trail is well marked with yellow blazes and also trail maps posted periodacally.

Pretty trail but no “wow” views. Part of the trail was very narrow and rocky.

Nice and easy hike with our doggie. The trail is little narrow between letters Z and Y and there is a detour between letters X and W but overall nice and very well marked trail.

This trail is good for hikers who like a challenge. You can tell this trail isn’t very trafficked as the path is definitely hard to follow at times. It was pretty helpful to follow the trail markings and we got a map before we started so didn’t get lost. We took our pup and she really enjoyed it but at times we were at such an incline on the side of the hill. Overall decent trail, just wish it was a bit easier to follow.

This was a beautiful trail but had its challenges. The trail had been blown over and they made a new trail going around it. That made it very difficult to find the markings. It took us some time to complete this trail because we got lost a few times. Very remote and quiet, loved it!

For most part the trail was in pretty good shape. There were (2) spots where trees/branches were across the trail requiring a minor detour. The trailhead/ending point located behind the basketball hoops was closed so this trail was rerouted at the back of the campground and the Ross Hollow Trail begins and ends at the yellow bridge (Point Z). Check out my recording for the current route of this trail.

HikingBugsWashed out

We hiked this trail in early September 2018. Lots of spiders. Lots of neat fungus close to the trail. Trail is fairly narrow along the ridge of the hollow. This was nice but it was semi-washed out in a few places. We had to jump across one spot. Moderate ascent on either end, pretty level after.
