Doing this trail after a light rain, watching the mist dance through the trees in the sunlight, is surely one of my favorite hiking moments to date.

Favorite place in the park. We went in May and there weren't very many people here since it's kind of out of the way from other parts of the park. Super fun to climb around on the rocks and a great place to cool down if it's a scorcher out.

Pictures don't do it justice.

This place was again amazing as you can walk through areas that have been carved into the rock. The trail to and from the rock house was riddled with large boulders and natural sandstone steps that offered a little improvisational climbing. Trail length was around 1.5 miles.

Me and my sons favorite of all! We pictured the Bible and how king David and his men hide in caves and how we would soooooo be down! Lol this park is such a awesome place to see!

Rock House is an awesome stone feature. The hike is very short and easy. Do yourself a favor, and go when it’s cold, rainy, or early on a weekday, as it will be crowded in peak times. Hang out inside of the feature, and let your eyes adjust to see the layers of color in the stone.

Awesome views. Big cave rooms nestled in the rock.

Pros: Really amazing rock feature, short easy hike to it. LOTS of cute and well behaved dogs along the way.
Cons: Oh. My. Goodness. Sooooo crowded. Almost standing room only inside the rocks structure, to the point that it ruined the experience. Would never go on a weekend again.

A fun short hike well worth checking out! I gave it four stars because it’s easy to get lost if you loop around you end up in a different parking lot. My son walked ahead (he’s 15) and ended up a mile down the road because of not being able to find where we started.

Beautiful hike, very serene area. Worth the visit, was there on the weekend and it was very busy.

Everyone should make a trip here. It's pretty, especially in autumn. The trail down is steep and relatively short. Rock House is cool and dark and has some nice views. It's almost always busy and filled with kids who like to scream so they can hear their voice echo. You should check it out, if only once.

From a beginners standpoint this was fairly challenging. Can be very slippery in some places so definitely wear the right shoes. But overall this was a gorgeous hike. The cave is amazing!!

Such a beautiful hike. Make sure you bring the right shoes. Ones that can get wet would be best so you can have more fun in the water. It was pretty good for a dog, too

Great small but tough hike.

This was amazing! As with my other review of Cantwell Cliffs Loop, these are shorter trails but views unlike anything I have seen. It was a short hike, but challenging as it was chilly, wet and slippery on rocks. It was very muddy which was a bit tricky near edges, so just be careful.

Short & relatively easy hike. The Rockhouse formation is very cool to venture through.

Loved the caves!

Short hike. To get more into the caves it requires some agility. Can be quite slippery when it's rainy in the fall. Overall very unique and you wont be disappointed.

Beautiful in any season.

A short hike but well worth it!! We went during the week so it was less crowded. 180 is closed due to construction so there is a detour.

Good hike. Go early on weekends to avoid crowds. Be careful with young children as cliffs are dangerous especially from inside Rockhouse.

Easy, short, interesting hike.

Relatively short hike to a cool spot. The hike isn't hard but would be challenging to someone with limited mobility or not able to walk a steep hill... While Rock house is a cave, you wouldn't really consider it a caving activity because it's a limited caving experience... Still well worth the experience... If you haven't been before, it's worth making part of your Hocking Hills experience. We combined it with the short version of the Old Man's cave hike from the State Park visitor's center... Combo easily done in 2-3 hours counting drive time between
