It was pretty icy this morning with rain on top of snow pack, but still enjoyable. Would be a great trail for trail running in thawed weather.

It's a really pretty trail, sucks that it runs along 77 though.

Both trails are nice and easy with lots of little bridges. Old Mill trail is a little hilly with lots of tree roots, kid and dog friendly. Rock Creek trail is smoother and we have easily hiked that trail with a stroller.

Well traveled but we used the edges. Beautiful walk. Loved the creek, ice patterns and figure 8 blended of two trails.

Much of the trail follows a small creek. There are many little bridges and a few gentle hills. Very beautiful hike when there is snow

First time hiking at Furnace Run. Although the trails are fairly flat and there is the sound of the nearby Interstate it’s a very pretty hike, especially on a beautiful sunny day in the fall!

If you are looking for an easy walk through the woods, this might be a good option for you if you are already in the area. It isn’t extremely pretty or interesting though. There is a lot of road noise almost the whole time from the highway, and for some reason a ton of people seem to ignore the one-way signage.
