Fairly challenging trail with lots of up/downs, steps, roots, and rocks. Well blazed. A few washed out areas along Queer Creek but new trail and markings to get around those areas.

Nice winter walk.

Great trail. Foliage isn’t as good as it would’ve been a few weeks ago, but it is still beautiful. Not too strenuous, but beware of many stone steps. The steps could be slick if raining and many don’t have a railing so be careful if you have bad knees.

Lots of wow moments on the Buckeye Trail. The Gorge overlook was fairly flat with a few inclines, not as scenic, but still offered beautiful views.

Crowded but worth it. Beautiful rock formations and interesting ferns and foliage. Leaves haven’t really started to turn yet here. Maybe another week or two.

We did the gorge trail from Upper Falls to Cedar Falls then took the upper rim tail back to the visitor center. The views along the gorge trail are well worth it.

Had a lot of fun, hiked this on a Sunday morning starting at 8:00 took the trail clockwise with overlook trail first and didn’t see or hear anyone else until around 10:00. Very peaceful !! Took my time and came home with a lot of pictures.

Perfect challenge level for my mom and I- mostly easy with a few challenging sections. We started at 9:30 and it was slightly crowded- we were always in earshot of other hikers but it didn’t both us too much

Very long. 9 miles. Was good the first half then on the way back got really hard. Such a great workout! Beautiful scenery

Beautiful scenery, but waaaaayyyyyyy tooo manyyyy people

The trail was superb! Challenges in the gorge was awesome! Limited mud but no bugs or mosquitos with 90% cooling shade! Recommend taking gorge to Cedar Falls then the overlook trail as the gorge is the more challenging trail.

Wonderful, especially the last half — in the gorge. Too many people!! Justine and roger returned the same way out as it was easier

Love this state park. We walked 8 miles starting at the old man cave parking lot to broken falls, then to cedar falls and then back to old mans cave on the rim trail (giant loop trail). Very beautiful!

Nice hike. Pretty easy. The trail through the gorge is more interesting than the “overlook” trail. Nice waterfalls but crowded.

Fantastic trail! Great for families or just your run of the mill hiker. Do be careful though, some alternating terrain with rocks and exposed roots. One of my favorites anywhere!

Great well kept trail. 12.5 miles took me about 4.5 hours. The earlier you arrive the less crowed. It can get congested but only at the parks, the trail in between is nice and quiet. Lots of large waterfalls and rock formations. You will forget that you are in Ohio.

If you can find your way to the ridges - avoiding mud. This was a great hike.
