Hiking

This is a short and muddy walk through the woods. The pine grove is really pretty though.

Short but nice and muddy. Overall good hike on a dreary Ohio winter day.

Easy to follow, muddy after snow melted. Easy to add on Chippewa Trail.

Combined Chippewa and Pheasant Trails. Also added Piney Pond but did have 10 yards of a flooded crossing on that small loop.

RunningGreat!

Pheasant Run is always in good shape. Easy short trail with a few ponds. Perfect for kids. When I go for a run here I always combine Pheasant Run and the Chippewa Trail (which has more hills) since you can access both trails from this parking lot.

Overall, Silver Creek is one of our favorites. There are four great trails. The bridle trails are a little more challenging than the two "regular" trails and are each 3 plus miles and they tend to be messier and less smooth (they are primarily bridle trails after all!). The other trails are very pretty and together are 3 plus miles. There's a great swimming area and fishing lake and boat rentals. Lots of good picnic areas too.

I thought this loop was really nice, especially when you go through the pine tree grove. It was a little muddy, but the trail was well marked and easy to follow. my dog also thought it was great!
