A great option if you’re avoiding mud. It’s great for birdwatching too.

This is a pretty nice section of the towpath trail. Most of it is crushed aggregate and a good portion of the trail is through a quiet, wooded area. There is also a campsite about a quarter of the way in.

a beautiful day, no clouds in the sky, comfortably cool, and could see for Miles with no leaves on the trees.

I’m constantly on this trail because I love running it. I always go out with my dog cause it’s very scenic, and quiet. Everyone you see on the trail is super friendly and also the trail is well maintained. Overall great trail!

This is probably my favorite section of the entire towpath trail. It's a very pretty section, often a lot of wildlife to see and one with lots of local history. It's well maintained as are all of the Summit Metro Parks sections.

Really enjoyed this trail with my dog the other day! She LOVES to swim and there were plenty of spots for us to go down and allow her to swim a bit! We walked part of the trail, but not a lot of it. What we did walk was very nice! Very friendly people there as well.
