I did this combination of trails half run half hike. The scenery was beautiful even with the barren trees in the winter. For anyone who likes to run and hike this is the perfect combination. Use caution on this trail in the winter. I came here at the end of February and there was still a thin layer of ice and snow.

A great trail, a bit slippery on the hills. Beautiful in the valleys.

This route is a great way to make the Mingo Trail into a loop rather than an out and back trail.

Beautiful trail, easy to navigate.Nice mix of elevation changes. Interesting for time of year, would like to repeat in different seasons. Bumped off a star as the suspension bridge to cross gorge was closed at midpoint. My wife found a spot to cross a short distance up a service road. Enjoyable day!!

Amazing. Loved the challenging hills of Mingo Trail. Beautiful scenery. Gnatty for much of it.

The map is really inaccurate. I run the Mingo Trail almost weekly. It’s a large loop, that is about 3.5 miles long. You are never alongside the road or off path. Just follow the Mingo trail markings and you will be fine. There is a side trail at aprox. mile two that will take you down to the jogging path if you wish. The trail has lots of elevation and some areas that are single track. You can add in Dogwood and valley link for a really fun hike or run.

Trail was very nice. Half of the Mingo trail is missing. Have to walk on side of road till you get to Dogwood trail.

This map is wildly in accurate. It requires you to do some bushwhacking which I don’t think this app should promote.

The trail ends at the road. Don’t follow the trail. You will end up crossing the river without bridge and go off trail. Saw a few baby deers. Overall decent hike.

Some good incline at the beginning but not much to see at all except some "spectacular" views of the road. Pretty boring overall. Luckily, there was finally a spot a couple miles in where I could get off the trail following a stream. Walking a bit in and over some downed trees I found a spot to sit and give the dog some water and have myself a cold beverage. Now I have never been hurt hiking a trail but today was the exception. While walking back to the trail and climbing over the trees I did not notice a slippery spot covered in moss. I then proceeded to SEND IT and pefrorm half a front flip directly onto my back. Sore leg and hip with bruises I'll evaluate later. Will not be returning to this trail.
