Middlegrounds Metropark is a 0.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Toledo, Ohio that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, bird watching, and fishing and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

This is Toledo's newest metropark in the heart of downtown. Accessibility: This asphalt, concrete, gravel, wooden bridge and boardwalk trail is estimated to typically be at least 5 feet wide. The slope is estimated to be mostly gentle to moderately steep and range from -4% (downhill) to 6% (uphill) grade. There are 2 ADA-compliant car parking spots with access aisles at the small paved trailhead lot.
Great easy trail for our senior beagle to join us on. Well maintained! Lovely scenery. Nice bathrooms at the beginning of the trail.
Fun trail to walk, but some of it is closed for seasonal purposes as of March 2020
