Miami Whitewater-Shaker Trace Inner Trail is a 1.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Harrison, Ohio that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and road biking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
This is a very nice, paved, multiuse trail. The Shaker Trail is actually the longer, outer loop. The shorter, inner loop is the Fitness Trail. There are about 2 dozen fitness stations along the trail where you can stop and indulge in some physical exercise. Very well maintained and scenic. This is a great family trail for families with young children. Accessibility: This asphalt trail is estimated to typically be at least 6 feet wide. The slope is estimated to be mostly gentle to moderately steep and range from -6% (downhill) to 9% (uphill) grade. There are 4 ADA-compliant car parking spots with 2 shared access aisles at the paved trailhead lot.
Very nice all paved trail in a really nice park. This inner trail is also the Fitness Trail which has 18 exercise/stretching stations from start to end. The Outer Loop is also all paved and is much longer that you connect from the Inner Loop. Also recommend walking around the ranger station along the lake. This place was fairly crowded, especially for a 30 degree weekday afternoon in mid January. Can only imagine how crowded this place is during warmer weather.
Excellent paved path, great for running, walking and biking. Dog and kid friendly. The dogs love to play in the stream. I’m been running this loop for over 10 years, rain or shine. The park highly maintains the path and trails. Restrooms nearby at the start of the trail.
great ride, just ran out of daylight! looking forward to trying the outer loop.

This trail has an inner and outer loop. I've been walking the inner loop with my 3 year old on his balance bike and my 1 year old in a stroller. It's my favorite place to take my son on his bike. There's only one place where you cross a road, so I don't have to worry about traffic and safety. Nice gentle hills for him to coast. It's a parkour trail, he likes to stop and try the exercises. Pretty interesting for a paved trail... small stream, parkour, people walking dogs, etc.
Way better than I expected! A really nice variety to the scenery and not just a walk in the woods. Paved trails have their strengths and weaknesses, but overall a great way to spend a few hours. The trail is open to foot traffic as well as bicycles and even horses if you are so inclined.
