We love this trail. It's more challenging on one side where Lyon's Falls are, and we love the falls. We crossed the Covered Bridge and went back Pleasant Hill Trail because it is flat and easy after a long day of hiking Mohican. This time of year it is really muddy and slippery, but still very fun and beautiful.

I suggest staying at the Lodge one time when you come, but you're bound to stay a lot! After hiking we came back to the Lodge for a swim and sit in the sauna. Now it's time for dinner and drinks....perfect ending to a perfect day out here in Mohican.

Very good experience. Gorgeous waterfall and the trails are extremely well marked. Couple fun but tricky crossing of little water streams (traversing a fallen tree). Met a Ranger at the trail head and she was super nice and gave me a map and advice . Will definitely go back.

Only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because of heavy traffic. Great trail, with a stream crossing if water is high. The bottom of Big Lyons falls was frozen but only about a foot, just wasn't cold enough.

We had a good time on this trail. We started at Lyons Falls. It was fun to climb down the rocks a bit by the cave. This site stated it was 6.3 mile loop and it's point-to-point, so unfortunately we didn't really have enough time to to Hemlock Gorge. We decided to turn around at covered bridge and go to Hog's Hallow Trail. That was awesome as well.

Do not hike it when its frozen solid. Ice on the trail is very treacherous. Very steep and you can fall a long way down
