A part of Great Seal State Park near Chillicothe, OH. You can access this trail that meanders around Mt. Ives and Mt. Logan from a number of points (Markers N, S, DD, or V) or the Shawnee Ridge Trail (Blue blazes). This trail follows the Purple blazes and crosses Lick Run Road. There's a good mix of ascents/descents along with flat sections.

The path on this Lick Run Trail is well-defined. There are some nice ups and downs - you'll feel like a roller coaster at times. Mountain bikers share the trail, so you'll see parts of the trail venture off for bikers to enjoy a ramp/jump occasionally.
