dog friendly easy trail. Dont recommend after it rains as there is a lot of wooden bridges that get very slick

Good trail that is easy to navigate. The kids enjoyed it. We had to modify the route because the mosquitoes and deer flies appreciated us too much.

Gorgeous, well maintained wetland. I like to walk the loop in the evening, as some animals are settling down and others are waking up. It’s a calming, contemplative place.

I recommend this trail for the free of heart, non critical, nature lover. It was a easy trail full of flowers, greenery, cattails, honeysuckles, wild iris’ birds, rabbits, and the list goes on! The creek was clear and you could see several fish swimming happily. There were even some hidden trails you could venture off on if you felt up to the adventure! The trails were clean and well cut. I appreciate those who take their time to upkeep this nature trail. Come visit for a quick or long walk (it’s really up to you) and a getaway from the busy world to meditate, clear your mind, or get a bit of exercise.

It’s short, easy, nice mix of boardwalk and dirt trail, mostly shaded and features a nice creek and a decent patch of open prairie. Some may rate it below 5 stars, but I feel that’s only because it’s not as interesting or challenging as other parks in the area. But for it is - a simply nice walk through a wetland, it’s a great way to spend 30-60 minutes. The higher range is if you come with kids who like to run back and forth along the boardwalks like mine!

This trail is very well maintained and a beautiful short walk. Most days it is pretty muddy (being a wetland and all). I would say it is most beautiful in the snow.

This park is honestly just meh, especially considering there are several better ones relatively nearby. It's mostly boardwalk/ dirt trail. It's a short little jaunt if you're just looking for something quick. But since it's a wetland, most of the trail is ankle deep mud after a good rain. Also beware of ticks, every time we have gone to this park someone had left with one!
