HikingGreat!

Every time I have visited Ohio I have hiked this trail. It is lovely place, beautifully maintained. Lots of shade, and wildlife. My latest hike there I saw 2 deer. Check out my video of this hike, and other hikes on my YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUVKCr-VuJoz8GgvaBsS71A/

Absolutely manicured trail! If you are looking for an adventurous trail this isn’t it! But it’s really nice and almost Disney like in its maintenance! The only thing I didn’t like was you can hear so much highway traffic that it took you away from the peacefulness of the walk. But overall I really like this trail for its ease, cleanliness, safety and walks for families.

Got shamed by fellow trekking-poled walker on this trail today for walking in the “wrong direction” as prescribed by current social distancing guidelines, AND as indicated by the signs along the loop. Forgive me, ma’am, for not laying attention you the signs as I’ve hiked a few hundred miles on this trail...I’m kinda familiar with it. And, respectfully, we’re outdoors and it is currently 84 degrees here in Hudson. Current knowledge of CV19 indicates it doesn’t do well in warmer temps, and I’m certain I didn’t breach the recommended 6’ distance rule. Sincerely apologize to those I threatened with infection by waking the wrong way. By the way, I have the Antibody. Peace!

Beautiful trail, but a bit muddy in parts. Also very busy, and although marked one way, people were headed in both directions. Still fairly easy to social distance once a bit out from the parking lot. Trillium is beginning to bloom as an extra bonus!

I am pleasantly surprised with the Hudson Springs Park Trail. I have never been here before, but it’s super nice. The trail is really wide (about as wide as the towpath) and very easy to follow. There are a few lookout areas where you can get some great views of the lake, and the bridges that go over the high water areas are nice as well. Though the trail is cinder or small gravel, it is a bit icy right now in several areas so be careful. My only complaint about this trail is how much dog poop people have left on the trail. Poop bags are offered at the trailhead, so it’s unfortunate to see that people aren’t utilizing them.

Pushing oneself to the limit. Challenging yourself to go beyond yourself so that ultimate reliance is upon God. Keep eyes focused on next right step. Don’t have to be distracted by what’s in left or right or behind or what’s around the corner. As long as you step where He is, you will be on His will and loving His designed life for YOU.

This is lovely trail! For a Floridian I think slightly moderate due to a couple of steep inclines, but wide and well paved, super enjoyable and dog loved it!

It was my first time here and was a nice walk. There was some nice up and down during the walk. There was a red trail that was a little longer, but I didn't see any markers telling you where to go.

Combine a fishing refuge, golf course, memorial Park, and pristine forrest; add a perfectly manicured trail, great people, great dogs, and ammenaties; then set it all in a serene area muffled by the white noise of the turnpike, and you have this park and trail experience.

Beautiful but busy trail. I encountered probably 30 other people on the trail itself on a warm weekday evening. The trail is hilly in some places, running through mature trees around the pond. Saw a variety of plants and many geese. The park also has a disk golf course, kayaks for rent, fishing, picnic areas, and a large playground, all were busy during my visit.

Great for a family or people of all ages! Beautiful lake, scenery & landscaping, nice playground for kids & a really cool shrubbery maze (like in “The Shining”!) that we played tag in for an hour; Our group had 7 kids & 2 adults. The 2 mile loop was great; if bringing a stroller, a jogger or one with bike tires would be recommended - it’s not entirely flat.
