We went after a snowfall and did the long loop. It took us about 2 hours to trek in our snow gear. The “Mystical Forest” snow covered trees was our favorite highlight. Mildly hilly balanced with flat terrain.

Fun trail with my three kids, ages 5-8. The little cemetery and house ruins are really cool, great plant variation, well marked trail. We took the short loop, as even that was a bit long for us. The trail head is actually just in front of the official looking park entrance, to the right, behind a small parking area that looks about two cars wide. There's a bridge just before the trail sign.

Great new trail at Buzzard's Roost Nature Preserve (part of Ross County Park District in Chillicothe, Ohio). Wide, clear trail at the start with winding narrow jaunts through a heavily wooded forest. Slight elevation at times with some great views and abundant wildlfe (e.g., deer).
