A great, short hike. Trail is light loose gravel. Note that the unmarked portion has no trail. You need to follow the GPS through the woods and down a steep embankment to the land between the two creeks. Then you have to hike up a second steep embankment and continue off trail until you get back to the marked portion of the hike.

Parts of this trail are closed they are rebuilding two bridges and a new shelter. Still plenty of other trials to use in this park.

Most of the trails were closed for repair so really didn’t see too much. But the park and what I did see is very clean and pretty scenery so don’t think the score would have ranked below this. I look forward to trying this one again after repairs and re reviewing this park

Made a last minute reservation over the phone and the park associate was very accommodating. Great night camping with my 7 year-old son!

Moderate hike thru dense woods. Trail conditions good, muddy in a few spots. Bridge is out on the trail. Once you reach the point the trail ends and the sign says trail closed, hazardous conditions, I recommend continuing. Just know its is at hikers own risk. Past that point it's very step decline down to the creek bed. At the creek bed the path ends, so it's somewhat confusing on how to continue. That is due to the hiker needing the crawl up a very steep hill to connect with the trail once again. That all being said, we found that section to be the best part of the hike.

More than likely won't see a sole on it and is a very relaxing walk.

Am i the only one that went 'off trail' because of this app and almost got stuck at the bottom of a steep slope? Lmao i almost called 911. But i didnt. I prayed to god and got my fat a$$ up to the top. I probably would not do it again but after the fact looking back it was kind of fun. My body hurt for about two days afterward. I am not going to do it again but at least it made me want to start walking and exercising more.

Nice trail, some good up hill on the back side of the trails. Can't wait to hike it mid summer.

Have been here many times to run, hike, and dog walk. Trails are well groomed with good markers. Trails are short to moderate in length. Scenery includes woods, ravines, and creeks which are nice but not A+. 3 stars for functionality and ease.
