This is definitely more of an urban trail for sure. There is a lot of litter (especially beer bottles and alcohol bottles) right by the trail. If you go a little bit further though, there’s a very small pretty area of the run where you can see heron.

If you want to hike through Goodyear’s industrial waste yard, this is the trail for you! I appreciate the whole “let’s restore factory land!” mentality but seriously, I think if I dipped my toe in the river it would glow green afterward.

Nice little urban trail. Good selection of birds, including an occasional blue heron. Worst drawback is trash along the trail near the Wildon apartments, and also trash in Adam's Run behind the Goodyear Track.

I had memories of walking home from Thomastown School to Salem Avenue.with my sister in the mid to late 50s. I remember having to cross a creek that was changed colors depending on what chemicals were dumped into it. I saw the trail and when I walked it, it was a clear and clean run now. A sign described how Lockeed Martin spent big money to clean it up from the chemicals dumped into it and to return it to a clean water so fish and vegetation would return in the natural state. It is estimated that it is 12,000 years old or more. It's nice to see something from your childhood that is nicer than you remember it as a child.
