Gas Well Loop is a 2.7 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Hanging Rock, Ohio that features a great forest setting and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and mountain biking and is best used from April until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
December 11, 2020August 23, 2020Awful hiking trail! Too many four wheelers! It definitely more of a riding trail than hiking!
June 11, 2020The trail was fine. Except for the biting flies. They were no fun. Also the last right turn - I missed because every other time you stayed on the trail and crossed the road. The last right basically puts you on a gravel road back to the parking lot. I stayed on the Hanging Rock Trail and had to backtrack about 1/2 mile.

First to ReviewOffers a little challenge. There are definitely coyotes on this park so after dark is not advised. It is a enjoyable walk.
