There was only one spot where a tree was down that you can’t get over.

Easy hike with some great views of the lake. Easy to take a wrong turn or miss a turn as the trail really isn’t marked well on some spots. Thought the trail would be a bit muddy based on other reviews, but it was not bad at all.

My dog and I did this trail yesterday. It is an easy trail. The markings were NOT clear. We ended up way out of the way on Antibantam Road Trail. Thanks to a group of teenagers on the road, they directed us back to the Administration Office. We had to walk 1-1/2 miles on Williamsburg-Bantam Road. They really need to fix the markings.

My kids(11&4) and I did this trail fairly easy and had a lot of fun spotting wildlife on the way. It has some muddy spots but that’s part of the fun. There seems to be a lot of trees down over the path nothing that can’t be quickly walked around. There’s several little bridges to cross a few that are missing boards or have broken boards, but they are still sturdy as ever. The trail markers however leave something to be desired, I had to keep looking at the map on my phone to see what way we needed to go.

There are several trees down along the trail. Nothing you can’t get around or over though. Muddy at the start but not too bad after that.

This trail is well shaded throughout and has beautiful views of the lake, it also wasn’t very busy on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The beginning and end of the trail are very muddy, ankle deep at points. Several trails intertwine and are not well marked, we had to keep looking at the app to see if we were going the correct direction.

Beautiful trail that is mostly shaded. Ankle deep in mud in some places, but it has rained a lot recently. There are a few trails that overlap and are not very well marked, so be cautious of that if you intend to stick to a particular trail.

Such a great trail! Ran it today. Very muddy for a little under a quarter mile at trailhead. A large tree down about half way, but easy to pass if you hike up 20 meters to go around the stump. Shaded from sun 95% of way. Great trail!

Trail was hard to follow without the GPS on All Trail. Many different trails intersect with this trail, at times hard to follow. Really muddy at times. All in all a great trail with many sights!

Very muddy near the beginning and end but trails were in great shape otherwise. Beautiful park with varied landscape. We ran into a lot of people but they were good about keeping their distance.

Pretty good trail. I would recommend not going if it had just rained since there are two creek crossings. We had to find other ways around them since they were so flooded. It gets pretty swampy at the end as well, but that may have been due to the rain.

Lots of fun! We had to get out of the way of mountain bikers a few times. And towards the end (or beginning depending on which way you go) we were hitting quite a few muddy patches. But overall a really beautiful, peaceful hike. Not very difficult, but it took us almost 2 hours including a few stops to enjoy the scenery.

Great trail, lots of swampy parts making it for a slow go. Beautiful along the lake.
