Getting There

Please contact the Division of Wildlife for hunting information. Also, off line map is recommended to get oriented as several users have reported that this trail is not well marked. For the main trailhead head north from the parking lot, head down the hill and follow the path to the right for the main water fall. From here you can follow the path down the rocks to below the falls and then explore. Or, head across the creek and follow the trails above the cliffs and walk out to "Dundee corners", a neat area where a Huge chunk of sandstone split from the main cliffs. Here you will also have a nice view of the lake and surrounding area and some flatter rocks. The second parking lot is up the trail farther beyond the corn fields. There are more trails to follow if you stay above the cliffs. To get back to the main area retrace your steps or follow trails to the right for a shorter walk.

small main parking lot, Maybe fifteen cars in main marked area. another parking area with spots for maybe 7 cars can be found by taking a right out of main parking, then taking the next right onto Camp road. second parking area and upper falls will be on the right, at bottom of hill. No bathrooms (actually lots if you count trees) Cell service is spotty. towns are kind of far, so stock up on drinks and bring a lunch with you, lots of areas to sit to eat and take in the views.

Many ways to get here, if you don't have a gps, these would probably be the easiest ways to get here. From points north, 77 south to route 30 East. Stay on 30 past 21 in Massillon. Take next exit 241/93, head left on 241 south. Take 93 south it will be on the left and will sneak up on you. Go through Brewster and Beach city, 93 will "T" with 250, turn left (east) on 250.(The dam, and fishing will be on the left,) down a bit farther is 93, take a right onto 93 south. it is down a ways on 93, you will take a Right... *** on walnut creek bottom road, then another right onto Dundee Wilmot road. Parking is on right, marked with Beach City wildlife area. Points south. 77 north to 250 east. stay on 250 at the 21/250 split (stay left) 93 south will be on the left, turn here and follow *** directions above.

It is an area that is pretty and has potential. Parking is easy. It isn’t hard to find the trail head. We didn’t see to many people on the trail . The waterfall we saw was nice. Unfortunately, I’m going to rate this low. The trail is not clearly marked. We did see some red markings. However, There is graffiti on the rocks. It is questionable if the marks were trail markings or left behind by the graffiti people. There were alcohol cans around/trash. We started to follow the red marked trees until we heard close by gunshots. We are pro 2A. However, it was obviously close. It is not (to my knowledge) any hunting season. Also, we had our dogs . I’m glad some people had better experiences.

Beautiful, loved the caves and the rocks. Falls were amazing while freezing.

Don't have too high of expectations for this hike or you'll be disappointed. Both water falls are fairly nice but the trails are a sloppy muddy mess now. Plus there are tons of graffiti painted every where. There are no signs at the trailhead nor posted maps...you're just following painted arrows/blazes on trees with a couple of aluminum signs that says "Falls" with an arrow along the way.

Nice easy hike, beautiful views of the creek and several falls. Following the trail makes you tiny hop across the creek, so in high water this might be tougher. Not very crowded on a Friday December afternoon

This is an amazing hike! We went on a gloomy, gray day and only saw a handful of other people, and we had the falls to ourselves. Some of the blazed trees have fallen, so it’s easy to get off trail in some spots. I love hikes that make me feel like I’m off trail and this one definitely delivered.

It was fun and so many great views. Path is hard to follow though. Not many markings but other than that it is beautiful and very fun!

Beautiful trail but did not initially know where the trail markers were. Trail markings are red along the trees.

At first it seems like it’s going to be confusing but once you get to the small falls (you can’t miss them, all the little trails take you there) you just cross over and look for the red marks on the trees. We went with our 4 kids - 2 we wear (newborn and 2) and then 4 and 6 hike along with us. There’s lots to stop and explore. Tons of frogs and minnows in the little pools.

Easy trail for my husband and myself. Saw both waterfalls and doubled back on our trail. We couldn’t figure out how to loop back across the creek to double back. But it was fun and got lots of great nature pictures.

We took our 3 and 6 year old on this trail. Was a little confusing at first but we ended up finding our way. As stated below, take the cross over the first waterfall and look closely for the red markings on the trees. Rocks, roots, and mud made this a great trail for little boys!

I liked this trail a lot, especially the creek bed -it was full of crawfish and frogs! Although there were lots of cuts, I never felt lost. I could have spent all day out there!
