Located just north of the Village of Granville, the entrance to the parking lot is on the east side of SR661/North Street.

Good trail, plenty of shade. Take the right trail entrance if you want mostly down hill. We took the left entrance and struggled with the hills.

Nice walk through the woods. Some of the signs are miss leading but the app keeps you on point. Muddy but I’ve seen worst

I had never been to Denison biological reserve before this and I’d have to say it’s my new favorite park. it’s early spring so I can expect a lot of the trails to be fairly muddy and some of the trails to even be washed out a bit but that’s what hiking boots are for. with all the new green growing back it was very fairy like and beautiful all around. I saw so many birds that I have no idea how to even begin to identify and even spotted four deer along the way. this preserve offers so much for any type of hiker there are so many different trails to choose no matter how far you want to go!! I hit a 5 mile marker today and every step of the way was stunning.

Super cool little trail

I was really surprised on this trail it was a lot longer than I thought it would be on the front review on Denison trail description. Jim Mercer (see his review & map) and I took all the outer edges of the trails that total up to 5.7 miles. Being winter the trails was a little muddy. Has some good hills, lots of woods and wildlife and a few surprises. Planning to use this for training.

Nice hike, trails through open fields, pine and deciduous trees. A couple small ponds, birds, ducks and deer are plentiful.

North loop (Taylor Ochs) is more difficult than the southern loops, less traveled, narrower and a bit less maintained. Very nice for a quiet hike with little distractions but what nature has to offer you.

Love the variety of options here. Easy to go on a longer or shorter hike, plus it's great too be able to bring the dogs!

I hike this trail every spring to see the birds and wildlife. There are some species of warblers that stay here over the summer as breeding pairs. The trail is pretty with several different habitats.

Very nice trails that are suitable for all ages. Only minor obstacles and slight inclines. We took our small dog and he loved it. Gorgeous fall foliage that produced a few lovely photos.

I'd definitely go again to hit all the side loops. Very good for most people but not too much that you couldn't enjoy. Not too much for an experienced hiker but very good for where it is

Did the main trail, white tail loop. Several side trails I will do next time. Most of the loop has a good trail but there are sections where it is very narrow and overgrown. Only 2 sections of elevation climb and they are difficult but only moderately. Nice woodsy hike. Saw deer twice. Very nice place, especially considering its location.

Beautiful scenery, lots of wildlife. Nice trails, some loops off the main trail extend the range enough to make this a great running option. The trails have some variation and sections that require good footing. Great location and what the trails offer are why it's 5 stars in my book.
