Not the most scenic, but not bad for a shorter trail. The overlook to the quarry and the stones along the way are neat.

Nice place to visit, great for families. Informative signs for the old quarry and locks. Lovely river views.

Really good trail. Simple, well marked with little to no wood. A great view over the river.

Today was pretty incredible actually. This was a new trail for me. Actually, I apologize, I went on this trail when I was a small child with my parents and I remembered the experience today when I went onto the Quarry. Incredible! Our guide today went in many various directions taking us off the path into some very unusual environments. Absolutely incredible experience. The weather was perfect crisp and wonderful. @skateparc

neat remnants of some history but wouldn't make a trip for it. We were already in CVNP so we were close by. Pretty easy walk.

Went on a 3 mile run after work and was really impressed with the trail. Casual climb and still places for speed

Nice place for a stroll. Historical markers and quarry remains would make an educational trip with kids. A bit muddy today.

Relaxing path for a stroll, not many people. Benches at the top of the quarry are a nice place to stop and relax. Would recommend boots or shoes you don’t mind getting dirty

So I feel like "easy" is a bit misleading. I'm a bigger guy and the trail starts and ends with a pretty decent incline that I found pretty challenging. Overall the majority of the trail is easy going and the quarry was really interesting. I'm looking forward to coming back during the autumn. There are plenty of benches and lots of historical facts scattered throughout the trail.

Nice trail with some interesting pieces of history along the way. Not a difficult trail per se, but it will definitely let you know if you are out of shape!

We extended the Deep Lock Quarry Trail along the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail not far to the scenic Peninsula area. It was fun to watch the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad come through here (unfortunately we didn't have enough time to include it). There is a National Park Trail Mix store (bigger than the one at Boston) and a few nice restaurants and places for snacks. We ended up having dinner here at the end of a wonderful day!

There is not a 2.5 mile loop trail in Deep Lock Quarry. You can verify that by going on Metro Parks website. The address is also incorrect. You will end of on a dead end street with no place to park but you can access Towpath.

Really enjoyed this from the large grinding stones along the path to the old quarry to ability to extend the hike on the Tow Path!
