Located adjacent to Chilo Lock 34 Park, Crooked Run is owned by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Divsion of Natural Areas and Preserves. The preserve is managed by the Clermont County Park District through a lease agreement. Its location along the Ohio River provides several scenic views and is an excellent location for birdwatching and nature enthusiasts. Over 180 species of birds have been observed in the preserve. - Over one mile of hiking trails - Scenic river overlook - Three wildlife viewing blinds along Crooked Run Creek - Excellent bird watching location Accessibility: This asphalt, concrete, packed gravel and dirt trail is estimated to typically be at least 4 feet wide. The slope is gentle and estimated to range from -3% (downhill) to 2% (uphill) grade. There are at least 2 ADA-compliant car parking spots with access aisles at the paved trailhead lot.

Nice and easy hike. I don’t live far so it’s nice to go to every once and a while with my dogs. It seems a little run down, I think because it’s old but still a good little hike.

this is an easy and flat trail. it's always a nice walk for our dogs. nice river views, fairly well maintained.
