Walking

This is a great park for an urban setting. there are plenty of wide flat paved or very smooth brick walkways where you can walk quite a distance probably miles if you did a loop. if you stay near the pond there are lots of benches if you have someone who needs to sit frequently I'd say you probably wouldn't have to walk more than most of the time at 10th of a mile if that before you would find a bench. it is very popular and heavily used lots of weddings in the fall. if you're able to go during the day during the week that would be the best time. There are also trails out into more nature areas rather than a sculpted park. some of the paved trails are a bit uneven. you have somebody who might be not so steady on their feet walk closer hold their hand in parts of it. it is a butterfly enclosure that's nice it's a little bit of a walk out there and there are no bathrooms out by the butterfly enclosure.

we like the blue trail, but we're starting to add in some of the yellow. well maintained - but careful along the edges of the paths, lots and lots of poison ivy.

Lots of different trails. There are pathed and non-pathed so there is something for everyone. I love the turtles and wildlife around.

Stay on the main path as some of the side paths have been let go I think for reclamation. Overall though if you live in the West Carrollton area a nice park to get a quick hike in. If looking for longer trails, Twin Creek MetroPark in Germantown has more variety in difficulty and longer trails.

Nice little 2 mile hike on the exterior yellow trail to get the blood flowing and great fall colors are peaking at this time of the year. Due to the drought conditions in this area, you will not see any water in the streams or the duck blind area, but it's still worth the visit to well groomed trails and a rebuilt tree tower that overlooks the park and 20 miles beyond. Visiting on the weekends can get pretty busy, but we chose to visit early in the morning to beat the crowds that overwhelm the parking lot by noon.

this was a nice hike. had a butterfly garden, ponds, and man made structures for kids but you can also take the trails which take you into the forest. I took the yellow path 1.8) with my dog. it was great to see the changing leaf colors and it wasn't very busy. The up-and-down terrain was nice. there were a few Bridges but no actual water. I would recommend this to others especially if you want to stay close, have a short walk, and maybe feed the fish, as the starting path is very sturdy brick and level footing.

This is an easy trail for me to complete on my own. It’s nice for when I don’t have a ton of time and want to hike some, and it’s close to home!

Quite a few trail options, beautiful gardens, a nature center/venue, and an overlook. This is a great park for all ages, and a lovely way to get in touch with nature.
