Good little easy trail for all abilities. There is a couple places to go down to a creek but mostly just forest paths. Trails marked very well and several others in the area also. It was worth the trip.

Enjoyed this trail. The area along the river is great. You can walk in the water along the bank. Without the water this would be a fairly average trail. Was expecting more shade. Long stretches in grass are non shaded.

Nice trail, especially along the river. You can walk in the shallow water. Top of trail is okay, grass trail for part. Easy to moderate.

Great trail! Just enough elevation changes for a good workout and some beautiful scenery along the river. Trail has been fairly well kept.

Some mud but you can tell it cam get real muddy. The vows along the river ate great but I was hoping for higher elevation and more views at the top.

It's a very nice trail. There are couple of muddy spots, but the trail is pretty - it goes along the river in the the beginning and the end. In the middle, there are some steep climbs and stairs to get some workout too.

A good portion of the trail smells like raw sewage. Was hoping for more water scenery, but there was very little.

Great trail, but wear your hiking boots—it was really muddy the day we went. We had fun skipping rocks in the river!

What a wonderful trail. Some parts go along the mighty river with stunning views. Couple of moderate hills. Lots of deers and birds. Great condition.

A bit muddy in a couple different spots. Not the most scenic at times (power lines on part of the trail), but an overall enjoyable trail!

Had a really good time with the family, 3 kids (14,8,6). All of the elevation was basically in one short spot at the beginning of the trail, if you go counterclockwise. The trails follows the river at a couple spots, and has nice viewing areas. There were “road closed” signs leading to the parking, but the road is passable.

Great trail to bring younger kids or easy skill level when it comes to hiking. Path does have some step areas but overall easy to climb. My two year old did very well hiking it. Some muddy areas down by the river but easy to walk around. Tennis shoes would work well for this trail (surrounding nice weather days). The road access is restricted but you can go around them to get into the park. We did notice some off trail spots that looked cool to try.

Trail was in good shape. There were muddy spots but nothing that couldn’t be avoided. It’s so relaxing to walk down by the river on this trail. Also, there wasn’t any trail closures when I went today. I saw a previous review that there was but it seems that they are all wrapped up with whatever was happening

I love this trail. One of my favorites out of many I’ve been on in Ohio! It’s easy to walk on and you get the beautiful view and sound of the river. There are multiple places to fish along the river or just put down a blanket and have a picnic. Very quiet and serene. There are road closures on the way there but you can get through them to get to the chuckery loop area. Also about half the trail is closed- there’s caution tape and not sure why it’s closed off but it makes a good walk about a mile in and a mile back.
