This is one of my favorite trails! I usually start from the Big Oak area- gets all the uphill parts done first. It's usually pretty muddy, so if it's rained in the last few days, be sure to wear boots and not sneakers.

Nice walk through hard wood forest. Path varies from wood mulch to sand/gravel to clays. Day after a spring rain leaves it puddles and slippery. Nice signage marking direction and types of trees.

Pleasant and easy wooded trail. Trail is packed earth, so some muddy areas. Very peaceful. Really enjoy the whole Silver Creek area—there’s a nice lake area with a beach for picnics and paddle boarding in the Summer.

This was a really great walk. I loved the workout from it. I’ll be doing this one more often.

Overall, Silver Creek is one of our favorites. There are four great trails. The bridle trails are a little more challenging than the two "regular" trails and are each 3 plus miles and they tend to be messier and less smooth (they are primarily bridle trails after all!). The other trails are very pretty and together are 3 plus miles. There's a great swimming area and fishing lake and boat rentals. Lots of good picnic areas too.

Enjoyable trail. Well maintained other than a few spots where it’s a little softer. Easy trail to do with my active dog. She loved it. Plenty of places for me to let her stop and wade in the water quick to cool off. Pretty busy while I was there on a nice Thursday.

easy hike. I am here often because it is close to home. It can be very muddy and there are usually quite a few people there.

Good walk to get the kids out and burn some energy. Cold day today and snowing (26 degrees). Trail was icy and slippery in some spots. Beautiful trail.

Good hike, had info about trees throughout. Very muddy and slippery today so be careful. Only creepy thing was intestines and liver of what looked like a small animal in the middle of trail.

Very nice walk through clean woods. Moderately busy the Friday evening we went for a walk. Dog and kid friendly.
