Beautiful falls. I would suggest a winter or spring hike when there is a lot of water. Under a mile. Lots of steps but easily doable.

Best trail in Ohio.

Loved this trail! Lots of steps, so be aware if you have any issues. But very safe. Good footing area. Clear trails. Beautiful falls. One of my favorite trails. Good for novices. If you have young kids, this might be a challenge. Saw lots of parents toting kids who pooped out on the stairs. Dog friendly trail!

The area near whispering cave was completely ice.

We took the upper loop to Old Mans cave, very pretty and easy. We took the lower loop back, very beautiful and rustic. If your up for a hike with a little climbing take the lower loop, it was fun! The fall colors are perfect!

Water flow is currently very low. I was here beginning of June and it was spectacular. The surroundings are still very pretty.

Rained that morning which made the waterfall really flow. Beautiful pictures!

Gorgeous walk down the falls. Had a hard rain the night before, but still the falls were small and the lake small as well, but did nothing to diminish the beauty. Lots of steps back up

I loved this trail! I would, however, consider it moderate. It’s very scenic and there are lots of fun spots to explore. The trail back is much easier and includes a beautiful overlook over the lake and gorge!

This was the cedar falls trail to old mans cave (blue blaze) then following red blaze back including Rose Lake. Highly recommend.

There is no loop in the Ash Cave area so you have to do an out and back on that part of the trail. It’s really pretty from Ash Cave to Cedar Falls though so the out and back part is worth it!

It was absolutely beautiful! You are not allowed to be in the water though, so I personally wasn’t too happy with that. There was a park ranger who told everyone to get out of the water for just walking in to cool off since it is 105 degrees today with the heat index. I did love the view though!

Great views and a nice short hike. But I love to play in the water and was not allowed which is why I only give it a 3. Make sure to look for the turtles if you go!!

We went early in the morning around 9 and only saw one other car. This was on a weekday. If you’re looking for a good hike this probably isn’t it but if you’re looking for a gorgeous waterfall in a lush green gorge, this is it. The views are stunning and it has a very peaceful oasis quality to it. There is a trail that connects to it that I believe goes to the other waterfalls but is about 3 miles if I remember correctly. Lots of stairs.
