I gave 5 stars because this trail owned me 0.8 miles in. It's wayyy too hot to hike it all today. I made it to the top of the hill that starts the trail and felt my body cry for help and so I turned around. Will return in the fall.

Nice trail! Pretty hilly, but all the inclines are doable. A few trees down, but we easily got over them. Some gorgeous ferns and moss

Disappointed. Not well marked. Not well maintained. Very “buggy “ today. Stopped at little camp store for bug spray and they told us the other side of the trail was not groomed yet. Where we did hike was not groomed well. We walked the road back. Bummed.

Halfway through the Caldwell/fire tower trail and the trail just stops, completely lost to logging in the area; other 2 trails were decent but not marked at all.

sadly on Sunday April 23rd we were told trail unavailable as it was being logged. We did hike a 1.6 mile trail. You get trail head across street from camp store. take road back by campsite #48. you can add on a other .5 mile connector trail. great campground. walk in sites or Reservable sites. Beautiful wildflowers today.

Really fun. Some parts of the trail were a little narrow, but all in all a great hike.
