This route has a dirt trail, but also mostly wooden stairs leading down to the falls. The trail is on other side of the road from the parking lot.
nice trial. At times felt like was fighting with the mountain bikers to walk the trail
Nice easy hike bring the camera! Great views. Can be busy on the weekends.
Wonderful short trail to a gorgeous pair of falls. The gorge is amazing.
A very short trek to an incredibly scenic view of Bridal Veil Falls, a cool gradually descending waterfall that takes a sharp left turn into a high walled gorge. Super cool and there's enough rocks at the top part of the waterfall where you can walk out into it. Can be combined with a few much longer trails that run through this heavily wooded and visually stunning part of Bedford Reservation. Four stars only because its not much of a "trail" to get to this particular attraction.
Cute trail, Perry falls, very easy. A relaxing family friendly hike
Simple walk on wooden stairs to the overlook. Can be made into a 4.5 mile loop by turning into the bridle trail after the overlook and continuing on bridle until Mars Quarry trail.. then looping back up to the bridle trail, crossing onto the multi purpose trail briefly, then getting onto the wild oaks trail. From there, continue to eddies wildlife trail, which will take you back to the falls trailhead. Beware that parts of the wild oak and eddies trails are shared mountain bike trails, and very narrow. So be alert for bikes behind you or passing the opposite way.
Only .2 miles in to see the waterfall! Very easy walk! We continue along the bridal trail (take a left along the falls) and hiked up some before turning around at one of the intersections with the all purpose trail to head back to the parking lot. Very dry and not too many people out! Totaled 3.5 miles.
