Beaver Run Trail is a 2.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Garrettsville, Ohio that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
Directions from Garrettsville, OH: Go east on State Route 82 for two blocks to the flashing light. Turn left (north) at the light onto Center Road. Travel Center Road for 2.3 miles to Hopkins Road and turn right (south). The visitor parking is on Hopkins Road.
This is part of the Eagle Creek State Nature Preserve - beaver run is actually 5 miles when you take into account its 2.5 miles in and then you have to walk back. It connects with two other trails and total it's about 7ish miles through the whole preserve. Trails are well taken care of and clearly marked. Make sure to bring some bug spray - swamps and bogs are perfect breeding grounds! Great walk to take :)
