Well maintained and easy trail! There may or may not be a $5 entry fee. We went right after a big snow meoand honestly or wasn't as muddy as some trails I've been on. But definitely bring water proof shoes. Very family friendly, ya dig?

Great easy going trail, didn’t do the timberlakes because I did it the day before so without that one it was 2.5 miles

Great hike. Would be great to take dogs, may be a bit steep for kids until 12. The hike was pretty quick just under 2 hours. Lots to see with the up and down the hills. First time here and won’t be the last!

RunningGreat!

Excellent trails, never muddy, well paved with gravel and lots of nature. Best of all, these trails are all dog friendly. However, no bikes are allowed.

HikingGreat!

Some of the leaves have turned yellow, so it was a lovely, golden hike! The trails were wide, clearly marked, shaded, and very well maintained. The trails themselves aren’t interconnected, but each is a loop with a separate trailhead that starts from the same parking lot. There is an entrance fee. I have the $10 annual Parks of Hamilton County pass that I used to get in.

Clean and well marked with lots of shade. Went mid week and ran into half a dozen people. We did all 3 trails from the timber lake parking lot. 8 bucks to enter the park.

Hiking

Great combination of three hikes, but it's not all continuous which is a little bit confusing the first. There were some incline changes which made it fun and there were some ponds (I think in the Oakleaf) trail. Quick note! They do "require" a pass for the year ($5/daily pass or $10/year), but the first time I went there was no one at the booth, so I guess just have cash ready (they don't take card). Overall, 4/5, would definitely go back again because of how close it is to the city!

Badlands was the most muddy, but overall a nice hike! All the trails are loops that connect from the parking lot/road.

Hiking

Hiked in Birkenstocks with a wimpy five and seven year old and they only complained about 62% of the time so that’s a win for us. Lots of fun creatures and foliage (frogs, snakes, WILD ORCHIDS!, western scarlet cup, etc.). Mosquitos weren’t terrible. Gravel trail and was well-maintained and not crowded, so it was easy to maintain social distancing. Note: this is actually separate three trailheads connected by a parking lot. We completed Oakleaf and Timberlakes.
