Awesome trail to run. Dry with no mud now. 3/4 shaded. Last 3/4 mile is all downhill if done clockwise.

Good moderate trail. Some steep hills in the middle, and I’d imagine after rain the streams are more difficult to navigate and the trails are muddier. Over-all a nice workout with good tree coverage. Perfect length.

The meadows are beautiful, and a nice break from just walking in the trees. Overlaps a decent amount with the other trail at Hampton Hills. If you park in the area by the archery range, go left when you reach the more beaten path & follow the signs with the little squiggles.

This was a nice trail with some decent pitch changes and some streams to walk through! Over all I would absolutely do it again and if you go at dusk... bring some DEET with you!

Adam Run is a fun trail with some great forest views and several stream crossings. Because of the crossings, it’s best to go when it hasn’t rained in while.

Very nice hike today! Trail was well maintained but there was a tree that had fallen on the path, most likely from the storm the other night. Always love coming here.

Trail was very well maintained today. Grass was cut and was not muddy at all. Slightly busier than normal

Very nice trail!! Path is very clear with multiple river crossing that feel good on the feet. The birds are excellent and the combination of shade and sunlight was pleasant to walk through. Sudden changes in elevation made the hike rewarding but a challenge. Perfect for anyone who enjoys walking with nature.

Did both loops this evening - great hike. Creek crossings were a breeze - water is low. Minimal mud too. Saw few flowers though. Dame’s Rocket is everywhere in CVNP right now, but only a couple small batches on this trail.

Nice trail with mix of winding hills, wooded ravines, and open meadows. In heavy rain this trip, these became challenging stream crossings, mud slides, and swamped fields. Surprisingly, the wooded trail is fairly dry. Expect to have wet footwear and just ride it out for the hike, when it's raining; the solitude is worth the price.

This has always been a decent hike but my most recent adventure was truly fun. Rugged ground and some fun stream crossings truly made this an adventure that wasn’t too hard but wasn’t a stroll through the park. It can be very muddy so be prepared but that can be part of the fun if you let it. Give this trail a go for sure.

Beautiful trail and there's some fun challenging parts for a beginner. If you could avoid the 50 foot area that's covered in mud it would be perfect but you can't. Don't wear shoes that you care about and you're good.
