This is a nice hike especially on a warm day The wind does come up the CanyonAnd it is a little cliffy But really not too bad good for all ages Sorry about the lack of punctuation in this paragraph I am using voice to text
The views are awesome! Its a great view of the river and steep slopes of the canyon. Hold on to tour hat because it’s VERRRY. Windy! Beautiful!
Saw a coyote, prairie dogs, and bison. Nice view of the river. Easy elevation gain with toddler in hiking carrier.
Stunning river views. Seeing the topography changes from this trail just shows the power of water and time. An easy trail with several great picture spots!
Very short hike but uphill. Really cool view of the Little Missouri River running through the partially grass covered hills and badlands with small trees here and there. The river was partially dried up and very muddy. I imagine this would be even more impressive in the spring when the river is running more fully and the grass might be greener (it was mostly brown).
Most breathtaking view of the Missouri/Little Missouri River I've had the pleasure of experiencing! 180 degree panorama of the river with a wilderness background that goes on as far as you can see. The trail itself is rugged enough that you feel like you're hiking, but short, flat and easy enough that it won't sap any energy for your more demanding hikes of the day
