The trail is on private property. There is a second trail that is poorly marked and almost impossible to find. Many other better options to hike-wouldn’t waste your time.

Whoever originally posted this trail should have warned hikers that you have to go through private property to do it! We felt awful finding out after crossing the bridge that we were trespassing! So, warning, this map does NOT reflect a legal trail. It was a beautiful little bridge and river area to see, but the only way to do this trail is way too risky and rude for us.

Good trail, but be aware, the property across the bridge is private. Private property signs are up and they don’t allow cars, foot traffic, or parking. Use the trail back up the road from the bridge.

We hiked just a short portion from the falls around to the restrooms. Fairly easy trek with some great vegetation. Encountered one set of steps with some soft and rotting wood.

I do not recommend this trail for beginners, children, dogs, anyone who is scared of heights, or anyone with no upper arm strength. The trail for the most part is easy and fun. You get to see an old abandoned cabin and a random shot up school bus from Clemson. But the one section is a straight up climb up a rock wall. It is very hard but ropes are there to help you. Don't do this in the colder months because the ropes were frozen to the rock face and once I got them free they had a few sections that were solid ice which made it difficult to climb up using them. But I will be back in the summer to do this hike again because it is a fun challange!

This trail was 95% easy and 5% very hard. If you take the loop there is a nearly vertical spot where ropes are necessary. Beautiful white water spots. There’s an old shot-up school bus that’s a sight!
