This trail is a hidden gem for hiking. Yes it's a horse trail but it's not used so heavily that it's not a good hike. One really fun part about this hike is you have to ford a stream that's about 1ft deep and 15 feet wide. Definitely would only hike this when it's warm enough you can take your shoes off and ford the stream. All in all a great hike, just may have to avoid the occasional horse poop in the trail. That keeps you alert though lol
