Trail itself was fine but parking on fast paced highway edge was slightly scary. Entrance was difficult to see.
Beautiful lake views and only one steeper section made for a pleasant walk.
I was looking forward to visiting the West House at the end of his trail, but the 200 year old building was the least interesting this about it. Since it's only about .75 miles long I combined it with Peninsula Trail for a very pleasant morning walk. The sunrise was the best I've seen maybe ever.
Great kid-friendly hike. There was some more variety to the trail than I expected for an "easy" hike. Beautiful bio-diversity and everything from a low creek area with ferns to beautiful lake views and several types of forest with lush ground cover.
i really enjoy this trail bc its short but the house at the end it a real gem to look at and picnic near. lots of dragon flies when its warm out!
Very easy and relaxing. A good trail to do with a friend and chat.
