Nice views of cave and waterfall, easy to maneuver with steps installed. Parking nearby, and numerous other trails to see same day.

Definitely worth scaling down to the bottom of the falls not a hard climb up at all.

Short and easy. Well graded and gravel the whole way

Probably should have done this hike BEFORE the Upper Falls trail, because I was a little underwhelmed with the view of the waterfall. The cave was cool, my kids enjoyed it

This hike was a combination of Tory's Den, the new Ruben Mountain and Wolf Rock. Total 12.6 miles stating at the information center for Hanging Rock. The trail has medium elevation changes and some level sections.

I’ve done this a couple of times now and the falls are more a trickle. The view from inside the cave (it’s shallow) is great! There are quite a few stairs.

Quick and easy trail with a water fall feature and some interesting history that provides some insight into the revolutionary war. We saw this during a very rainy day and the cascade waterfall was spectacular. I can imagine during a dry spell or a very sunny day, this wouldn’t be as much to look at. The den is just that - a huge intrusion into a rock face that allows one or even a large group to walk in without issue. Evidence of camping in the distant past is to be clearly seen with the smoke parks on the ceiling.

A quick easy trail but great for a young family. Not too busy and some neat features with the falls and den/cave.

Very interesting trail. Very short, but lots to see. The cave is shallow, but dark. Going in, was startled by some birds flying out. Interesting story behind it. Beautiful scenery & falls. Def a good trail to check out!

A nice short out and back hike to a waterfall and a cave with some history of a Revolutionary period skirmish between the Torys and Patriots that resulted in fatalities. At the time of this post the falls are fantastic due to a recent rain. The waterfall is more of a trickle during the dry season but the cave known as Torys Den is worth the hike especially if you are into history.

This place totally sucked. Smallest waterfall I've ever seen and the cave was even worse. Complete waste of time. With so many other great sites at Hanging Rock why waste your time here.

This is one of the lesser frequented trails at Hanging Rock. It features a cool cave, and you can hear people in the trails and waterfalls below. It is also near a horse trail.

A very short hike to a nice waterfall and a cave with a little local history. It is away from most of the popular park trails. There are however some very pretty views in the area from below Moore's Wall.

Nice short hike for kids, only 0.2 miles one-way, lots of stairs down - the falls are best viewed in the morning as the shadows shroud the falls in the afternoon. Cave is interesting. Access is from northwestern side of park, so not much traffic.
