Campus is beautiful especially in the early spring but my daily walks through campus made this boring for me. Visitors love it though :) lots of history!

I have made several trips to Franklin Street over the years. It is always fun when you can combine it with a pretty walk through the UNC campus, and maybe a visit to the Moorehead Planetarium.

Nice city trail with nice views of many historic places.

Just minutes from the UNC campus, but feels very remote. Nice creek views.

When I lived in Chapel Hill, this was one of my favorite hikes, as it winds through the campus and all its wonderful yet slightly dangerous brick sidewalks due to roots pushing the bricks up at odd and uneven angles. A favorite past time is sitting on franklin Street watching the Carolina freshman trip on the uplifted bricks. Good times.
