Really nice view with minimal effort. 0.8 miles from Rough Ridge Overlook parking to the top. You can keep walking but we turned around from there.

great trail!! photo stops make it take longer. Also you must be willing to climb if you want really cool edge photos. A little muddy but awesome views!

Quite muddy. Ice is 99% gone. Wasn’t too impressed with the Wilson Creek overlook. Could have turned around before then. Really fun getting pictures on “the rock”. Don’t worry we were very safe, it’s all about camera angles

Great trail. 0.5 miles to the rock everyone talks about hiking in the smokies, that gives the illusion you’re hanging over a cliff. Beautiful long range views. Close to blowing rock to follow up with a beer.

Great views. Terrain can be a bit tricky. Especially if it’s frozen over like it was today. Extremely windy on the rocks in the openings. Will be back!

HikingGreat!

This is a fun trail with lots of different terrain and beautiful views. We did an out and back and it was very enjoyable! We turned around after we reached the overlook off the Blue Ridge Parkway. I had done this trail before and there were a few trees down on the trail but manageable to get around.

To many people on the trail with no masks. People coughing and sneezing. Very scary. But nice views, just overcrowded.

Fun trail with outstanding topography and views but was too crowded to be enjoyable. Will have to try again.

Outcroppings beautiful the first .7 miles but wish I would’ve turned around before the trail started going down and into the woods. That part of the trail wasn’t worth it and just takes you back to the road at another outlook. We just walked the blue ridge parkway back which was also an amazing experience.

Quick trail, don’t need to do it all. Just make it to the highest point. Crowded as heck even on a Friday, but worth the views and fall colors are nice down below.

This was a great trail. It's short but strenuous. It has 3 stopping places with beautiful views. Great for inexperienced hikers. not a long hike at all. We did it in about an hour and a half with stopping at each of the rocks to get some rest and some pictures

While the views are absolutely fantastic, the trail is extremely narrow and the amount of people that go to it is too much to make it an enjoyable experience.

Fun hike! Definitely agree with it being moderate, but very doable. The boardwalk area was my favorite for pictures/views. The descent back down goes very quickly.
