We took this trail because we stayed at the GPI and didn’t want to get the car to go elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend coming here to do the trail. But it’s a nice hike if you’re staying here.

Convenient city trails. Nice walk if you loop around on multiple parts.

HikingMuddy

A little muddy today, but not too bad considering yesterday’s storm. Very easy , lightly trafficked trail with an upper and lower loop. Parking is confusing but you can use the resort parking, first 3 hours are free. Finished the trail in about 45 minutes and that was with me stopping to take pictures a lot and taking every branch off the main trail I could find. If you want more of a workout you can loop around multiple times or jog parts of it. Cute bridges and little landmarks along the way. Nothing beats the sound of the flowing water along the trail! Great trail to get a short easy workout in without having to go too far into the mountains.

Short and scenic. If you are staying at the Grove Park Inn this is a fun short hike to do with your family. Nothing challenging but some fun sights to see in the woods.

Decent hike. Short distance so I went around 3 times to get more miles in. It always good to get outdoors.
