Summit Lake Trail is a 9.7 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Hendersonville, North Carolina that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This loop is basically an out-and-back to Lake Summit. This pristine lake is surrounded by rocky cliffs and offers a stunning 360 degree view. From Fawn Lake Access Area parking lot: Take Buck Forest Road to Conservation Road, take a right and continue on Conservation to Lake Julia Road, tale a left on Lake Julia and continue straight around Lake View Loop, then retrace back up Lake Julia Road, take a right onto Conservation, continue to Buck Forest Road, take a left on Buck Forest, then continue back to the parking lot.
