Beautiful trail. It was incredibly quiet and wonderfully shaded. It is in between moderate and easy. My wife is a couple weeks away from giving birth and we were able to complete about half of it. It is one of my favorite hikes around Asheville. We didn't see anyone and had the whole trail to ourselves.

A good long (for me) hike. App shows this as easy. Trail markers show it as moderate. Probably fall between the two. A nice wooded hike. No long range views if that is what you are looking for. Saw no other hikers but a few mountain bikers.

this was a good basic hike that was very enjoyable. It had some steep sections but overall was very well-maintained and extremely easy-to-follow although not easy to hike always. The trail marker for this hike calls it a moderate not an easy I also posted a photo of the trail marker, I have never seen a martini glass on a trail marker before in my life
