Beautiful walk in nature. Not marked well. But gorgeous. Went right at fork then kept taking lefts to find my way back Lost service on ridge.

Nice little up and down. Several stream crossings but nothing too bad. Definitely needed the downloaded map to stay on the right trail.

This was a fun trail to hike. I needed the map on this app to make sure we were staying on the right path. Enjoyed the stream crossings and occasional spot the explore and play near the stream.

About 4 creek crossings where your feet will definitely get wet without proper shoes. Great “middle of nowhere” location. Went after a heavy rain and water was rushing. Very enjoyable trail and good size parking area.

Good trail. Very wide and a little rocky in areas. Some creek crossings but very doable. This parking area has many, many options for trails. You could probably spend 3/4 of a day exploring the many options.

Nice easy 2.2 mile hike with some moderate parts. Lovely stream the whole way. Very peaceful and not too packed at 9:00 on a Saturday.

Loose rocks, but ultimately a good quick hike to get moving outside. Water and mud so be aware.

As others have mentioned, be aware there are many creek crossings and your feet will get wet! Downloading this map offline is a must because there are many connecting trails and no markers- even using our GPS we had to backtrack a few times. I was afraid these trails would be crowded seeing how packed the parking lot was, but only rarely encountered others. For being a hike so close to Asheville, I would definitely come back here again.

HikingGreat!

Started this trail today and missed the turn/creek crossing so we followed a different trail that had a nice slight incline. Still enjoyed the hike and there were many other trails off the trail we were on. The dogs loved it. Thankful for the waterproof boots comments because they were a must today!

Nice relatively easy loop trail with several pretty creeks and lots of tall rhododendron. Trail is well defined although not blazed. Waterproof boots are advisable for the various creek crossings! FYI, limited parking currently due to lot being blocked by fallen tree.

HikingGreat!

Lots of water features. Very pleasant trail. The defined trail degrades into mountain bike and many off-shoot trails. You definitely need to be able to GPS your way and not depend on dead reckoning. I would rate this easy/moderate. I will hike this trail again. It was a great afternoon stretch!
