Shinleaf Day Use Area Trail is a 2.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Raleigh, North Carolina that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

We went for tia hike after it rained last night, so the trail was a bit muddy, but it was still usable. Nice hike, gets your heart rate up a bit without anything too strenuous/challenging. Some nice views across the water at the end!
