Nice trail. Uphill but not strenuous. We bring our GSD here a lot. Never crowded. It also connects to another trail if you want to walk more. Great last minute short hike.

Nice there and back trail at the NC Zoo. It's well marked and a fairly easy hike. The trail is just a little shy of a mile up the mountain. It is all uphill but it's not too strenuous. The view at the top is fair, there lot's of trees so it's a little difficult to gauge. There's a sign at the summit though that says they will be building an observation tower....now that's going to be awesome!

Enjoyed roughing it on Moonshine Hill. Perfect way to spend a glorious autumn afternoon!

Nice mile long trail through the woods. The path was easy to follow and there were many signs posted throughout the trail. Could have been a nice view from the top but there was so many trees you could barely see around them, but they are planning on building a viewing tower later this year!

Wonderful long and scenic trails through the woods between the fantastic animal exhibits.
