Point Lookout Trail is a 7.2 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Old Fort, North Carolina that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, birding, and road biking and is best used from September until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

I wouldn't call this a hike per se, since it's well paved and very comfortable, but it is a great day walk and training trail! Very good for families with strollers!

The lookout is beautiful however the pavement was tiring on our joints. Will be biking this one next time.

This is a paved trail, and though it's a decent climb (one way) if you do the whole thing- it's still pretty easy. It's not too busy, but there are some great views. The history is pretty interesting as well.
